Bilbao Abando station Information

Abando Indalecio Prieto train station, also known as Bilbao Abando or North train station, is located in the city centre of Bilbao, in plaza Circular. It was renamed in 2006 with the new name being a union between the old Abando district station name and that of Indalecio Prieto, the Minster for Public Works during the Second Republic, who was responsible for promoting the railways.

The train station is connected to the Bilbao Metro station and Bilbao's tram system. It operates locally on line C-1: Bilbao Abando-Santurtzi, C-2: Bilbao Abando-Muskiz and C-3: Bilbao Abando-Orduña; as well as on long distance routes: La Coruña-Vigo, Barcelona, Burgos, León, Logroño-Zaragoza, Madrid, Málaga, Miranda de Ebro, Segovia and Valladolid-Salamanca.
